You’re welcome! The icons are included and can be activated or deactivated through the theme admin panel.

And once again : You have outdone yourselves . This theme just ROX ! Best WP theme I have seen after the much talked about ‘Agregado’ – now this is LUMINOUS ! Would you mind if we converted it for the Blogger Platform ? It seems that all the good things are made for Wordpress

] It seems that this theme is making the rounds all over the internet & will soon be spreading like wildfire . I came across it on yet another blog @HERE ( although it was in Italian & I couldnt understand much ) I knew enough to assess that your Rockin theme is being talked about

Glad you like it!
The two lines that do not validate are left in by choice.
-moz-outline-style:none is to remove the dotted outline on firefox links.
//top:130px; is for ie
You can remove them if you prefer.

Removing //top:130px on line 48 of style.css will make the search bar in ie look 2px off center.
You could add the following in header.php beneath the style.css call instead
<!–[if IE]>#header_searchbar{top:130px;}<![endif]–>
-moz-outline-style:none can be removed entirely – it is not important – just our preference.

Wow, really cool layout. I liked the most the Light blurs. Congratulations Webtreats!
It may look amazing too with some kind of thechnology look such as the track from a ciruit board behind it. Who knows in a update or for a new free version. ;0)

Looks great on your site! In the Wordpress version there is an custom option panel named “Translucence” that lets you chose the background from a dropdown menu. We don’t use Blogger so I can’t really say in your case. Perhaps ask the people who converted it, or manually edit the css.

The font is Amerika Sans – you can download it here http://www.dafont.com/amerika-sans.font

How can i adjust the width of the layout to be 85% of page width.

Unfortunately it is not easy because of the background images. You would have to add many new divs and do a bunch of splicing. (I assume you mean 85% flexible layout)

hi there! awesome theme. just what i’d been looking for.
what do i need to do to get my custom logo to show up? I’ve disabled the default and my link is correct but no change. just the wordpress blog name and subtitle.
my logo may be too big. are there specific dimensions for that space?

Thankyou for a very nice theme! I’m trying to understand the CSS-part of it to reduce the biiig 5 cm. padding under the main page/1st colomn white area, but cannot find out where to adjust it. Can you please help me out?

If I understand correctly, you need to go to line #31 of style.css and change the “top” value of #body_block #primary to be more negative (ie. top:-65px)
#body_block #primary {
top:-45px;
}

Thank you Pamela for fast and informative answer! You learned me how to reduce the white space on top of the white main colomn, but not on the bottom where I’m, still are struggeling. If you look at http://www.risorsko.no/sko/ you will see that it’s a 5 cm. white space under the bottom photo. How can I get rid of this?

For a quick fix you could change the positioning & height of the footer image, but you will probably want to edit the image as well

I love the theme and have been using it for a few months now. The only problem I am running into is that the side navigation bar seems to be not wide enough for a lot of common widgets (subscribe here and my twitter come to mind) is there an easy way to expand this area so text on widgets will not wrap or go off of the navigation bar image?

Unfortunately there is no quick fix for that, you would have to edit the background graphics and the code.

Looks great on your site!
go to style.css (line 48)
and change right:0; to left:0; on the #main_navigation div as seen below:

You are more than welcome to download our wordpress version, however, so you can get the background images.

Hey! Awesome template! I’m buying a domain soon, and want to use wordpress, and hopefully this theme. I just wonder, is there a way to get the side-bar white too? And can i decide the size of the head image myself? (Sorry if these things are easy to find out, but as I said, I don’t even have wordpress yet!

Hi Linda,
Unfortunately translucence is not very flexible. You would need to edit some images, and you would need to be familiar with CSS.

Hi Pamela. I’m using your beautiful theme for a website ( http://www.balburrasca.it), and i’m very satisfied with it, but… I can see it perfectly using Safari as a browser, not the same using FIrefox or IE.
With Firefox, the searchbar is not correctly shown, with IE – in addition – the text of the name of the blog is partially cut off.
Do you have some hint to help me solve those problems?

Sooo … I installed an edited version of your theme and the widgets disappeared. I had it running just fine on my testing server and when I made it live they stopped working. Any ideas?

Sooo … I’ve been using this theme for a while and I LOOOVE it. Until today. I upgraded to WP 3.0.1 and the widgets no longer function. I mean, I see them on the site but I can’t edit them at all in the admin panel.

i really loved it and i am using it for my WordPress blog bumedian.ly
but i couldn’t understand why its not showing correctly in the IE8 is there any thing wrong in my settings as i just installed some widgets .. could that be the reason why ? in chrome is cool but in Firefox and ie8 its not correct

Hello. First I have to agree with everyone – brilliant theme. I tried to customize it a bit – tried to make a white background (content-middle.png) also transparent, but all i got was ruined theme. CAn you please provide me with information or new png will to make content part little bit transparent?

Hi,
Can you please advise on the compatibility? I just tried to do a local installation using Wamp and WP3.0.5 ( I assumed definitely not compatible with 3.1) and I could not get the theme to activate. I can get the error messages if you need them, but I am thinking the theme is not compatible with newer versions of wp.
Please advise.
